Dr. Howard Gross is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who offers a full range of leading-edge plastic surgery procedures, with the goal of achieving the results that his patients desire — the first time. At Surgical Arts on State, Dr. Gross has helped Santa Barbara and surrounding area patients feel confident and live happier lives. He is an expert in performing both cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. For over 30 years, Dr. Gross has been providing a full range of cosmetic, reconstructive and emergency plastic surgery procedures.
Dr. Gross went to Medical School at the University Illinois, graduating from the prestigious Medical Scholars Program. He completed General Surgery residency at Loma Linda University and Plastic Surgery residency at the State University of New York. He then did a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills.
He was Board-Certified in both General and Plastic Surgery and has recertified twice.
Dr. Gross begins his process by carefully listening to his patients, in order to understand their concerns and their desired outcomes. After an in-depth discussion, Dr. Gross will explain what is required to deliver an optimal surgical outcome.

Dr. Howard Gross is proud to announce that world—renowned Beverly Hills based, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Tim Neavin, has joined Surgical Arts On State.
Dr. Neavin has advanced training in surgical face lift procedures , rhinoplasty, rhinoplasty revision, fat grafting to the face, body and breast, facial remodeling, as well as other beautification surgery for men and women.
Dr. Neavin also has trained and worked with pioneers and leaders in the field of breast and body surgery, including body contouring, liposuction, body lifting, and complex breast surgery.A highly sought after lecturer, Dr. Neavin speaks nationally on the topics of the safety of office based surgery, the positive effects of plastic surgery on a patient’s sex life, periorbital beauty, fat injection, abdominal surgery, and injectables.
Dr. Neavin has built many long-lasting relationships with his patients, due to his caring nature, attention to detail, skill and exceptional surgical outcomes.

Jennifer graduated from Calif State University Chico. In 1991 she moved to Santa Barbara area with her 3 children. Three years later, Jennifer became Dr Gross’s Office Manager & Surgical Coordinator.
The past 28 years Jennifer has been helping new and the returning patients feel comfortable and confident from consultation through recovery. Jennifer is always being available to Dr Gross’s patients and answering any questions they may have throughout the entire surgical experience. Should you need any help with financing your surgical procedure, Jennifer is happy to walk you through the process.
Yvette, the “new girl”, joined the team 22 years ago and wears many hats. She is the first face patients see at our front desk, does most of the scheduling and insurance coordination and helps patients recover after their surgeries with her special tender loving care.
